Install WiFi for a living? Every router you set up can pay you for life.
Register your clients on Vivid Connect, run their hotspot businesses from your own console, onboard the MikroTik from your phone in one tap, and earn 1% of every online sale each of them makes, for as long as they sell. Made a deal with the owner, whether you financed the equipment, run the site for them or anything else you agreed? Propose a revenue share they approve, and get paid at the moment of every sale.
You set them up. You can run it for them. They stay in charge.
A Vivid Connect Partner is an approved technician who registers businesses on their clients' behalf and can work inside each one. The owner sees you named in Business Settings, can remove your access at any time, and every change you make is logged under your name.
- Register clients
Open a business for a client from your console, or from the app. The owner gets a WhatsApp code and their own sign-in; you get the business in your list.
- Enter and run it
Routers, packages, speeds, WhatsApp, customers: everything the owner can do, you can do for them, from the web console and from the Vivid Connect app.
- Onboard from your phone
Mint a token, open the app next to the router, tap once. The hotspot, tunnel and login page configure themselves. No Winbox, no laptop, no scripts. Wired installs too: PPPoE is built in and provisioned from the router page in a minute.
- See your earnings
Every business you registered, what each one sold, and what came to you, split by referral share and revenue share, with a payment reference behind every line.
Two ways money reaches you. Both at the moment of sale.
The first is automatic on every business you register. The second is a deal you agree with the owner, for whatever reason suits you both: you financed the equipment, you run the site, you brought the customers. Neither touches the platform's commission, and neither is paid on cash or voucher sales.
- 1% referral share, for life.
On every online sale a business you registered makes while it is on Pay As You Earn (6% platform commission). It comes out of the platform's side; the owner keeps their 94% exactly as their plan says.
- Revenue share on any deal, up to 50%.
You and the owner have an arrangement, whether you bought the router, run the site or anything else? Propose a percentage of the business's online sales. Once the owner approves, we pay it to you at the moment of each sale, out of the owner's side, on any plan.
- Paid to your own MoMo or bank.
Split as the customer pays. It settles into your account the same way the owner's share does. There is no wallet on the platform and nothing to request. Cash and voucher sales are outside both shares.
| Who | Referral share only | With a 30% revenue share |
|---|---|---|
| Customers payonline, by MoMo or card | GH₵3,000 | GH₵3,000 |
| Platform keeps6% commission, less your 1% | GH₵150 | GH₵150 |

"We agreed on a split." Now it runs itself.
Plenty of installers already have an arrangement with a client, a cut of the sales for financing the equipment, for running the site, for whatever the two of you agreed. What usually breaks is the collecting: cash on Fridays, someone's word for the total. On Vivid Connect the agreement is carried out by the payment split, sale by sale, and only after the owner has approved it from their own account.
- Propose it when you register, or later.
Any percentage up to 50% of the business's online sales, with a note explaining the deal, whatever it is for. You can also propose one on a business you registered earlier.
- The owner accepts it themselves.
They get a WhatsApp with the split and a link, sign in to their own account, request a code and accept the agreement. A business registered with a share starts selling only once they do (or you withdraw it). Until then, nothing is shared.
- Paid at the moment of each sale, on any plan.
Once approved, we pay your percentage out of the owner's side of every online sale, on any plan. The platform's commission does not change.
- Protected both ways.
You both accept the Partner Revenue Share Agreement. The owner cannot end it alone: they can ask, and it runs until you agree or Vivid Connect decides. You can set an end date, or leave it open-ended. A change to the figure is reviewed by us and accepted by the owner again. Cash and voucher sales are outside it.
482 913. It expires in 10 minutes.10:15 ✓✓Doing it the old way, and doing it as a partner
If you have set up hotspot routers for clients before, you know the pattern. Here is what changes.
| The old way | As a Vivid Connect Partner | |
|---|---|---|
| The install | A laptop, Winbox and a script per site.Every install is an evening. Every change is a visit. | One tap from your phone.Token in, router configured. Packages and speeds you change from your console, wherever you are. |
| The money | Funds held by a portal until someone releases them. The client waits on payouts, and you are the one they call about it. | Paid to the owner's own MoMo at the moment of sale.Nothing sits in a portal. Your share is split out in the same instant, to your own account. |
| The support | You as unpaid tech support, forever. The router breaks at 9 pm and it is your phone that rings, for free. | You as a paid partner.1% of everything they sell online, for life, and a revenue share on top when you have a deal with the owner. Support becomes something you are paid for. |
From application to your first client's router, in four steps
Apply
Fill in the partner application with your name and WhatsApp number and confirm the code we send. It is free. Applications are reviewed by hand, usually within a day, and you hear back on WhatsApp.
Register your first client
Sign in at the business login, or open the app, and open a business for them. The owner receives a WhatsApp code and their own sign-in. Propose a revenue share now if you and the owner have a deal.
Put them on Pay As You Earn
Businesses you register open on Pay As You Earn: no monthly fee, 6% of each online sale, earning from day one. Enter the business, build the packages and speeds, and connect the owner's WhatsApp number.
Onboard the router from your phone
Mint an onboarding token, open the Vivid Connect app beside the factory-fresh MikroTik and tap once. RouterOS 6 stock is updated on the way. Your client is selling the same day.
Not sure what to put in the box? Read the router buyer's guide for models by situation, with pictures, or the onboarding chapter of the getting started guide for the cabling and reset routine.
One simple plan for your clients, and add-ons when a site grows.
Customers pay by Mobile Money or card on the WiFi login page and are connected automatically. Owners are paid to their own MoMo or bank at the moment of sale by our automatic split; there is no platform wallet. Owners buy add-ons from their dashboard when a site grows; the plan itself never needs choosing.
Pay As You Earn
Every business you register opens on this plan from day one; there is nothing for the owner to choose. The owner keeps 94%. Your 1% referral share comes out of the 6%, so the owner's side never changes because you are involved.
- 1% referral share to you, for life
- Revenue share paid on top if approved
- One router included
Add-ons
Anything a growing site needs beyond the plan is an add-on the owner buys in a minute: an extra router (GH₵150, once, theirs for good), assisted onboarding when they would rather we did the setup, and more as we add them. Enter the business and buy it on the spot with the owner's MoMo.
- Extra router: +1, GH₵150 once
- Assisted onboarding: GH₵150 once
- Your shares apply to its sales like any other
What you charge a client for the install itself is yours to set, off the platform. Our fees do not change either way.
Asked by installers before you
Do I need a laptop or Winbox to set a client up?
No. You register the business from the web console or the app, mint an onboarding token, and onboard the client's MikroTik router from your phone with the Vivid Connect Android app in one tap. No Winbox, no scripts, no laptop. The router needs RouterOS 7.1 or newer; older RouterOS 6 stock is updated automatically during onboarding.
Can I set a client up for wired or fibre-style subscribers, not just hotspot WiFi?
Yes. PPPoE is built in: on the client's router page, press Provision PPPoE, pick the port or bridge the wired customers are on, and the router becomes a PPPoE server checking every sign-in against the business's customer accounts. You then create PPPoE packages beside the hotspot ones; customers who need a fixed IP get it on their profile. Your referral share and any revenue share apply to PPPoE sales exactly as they do to hotspot sales. PPPoE is switched on per business; ask us when you have a client for it.
What happens if the owner removes my access?
The owner can remove partner access from Business Settings at any time and it takes effect immediately. You lose the ability to enter and change that business. Your 1% referral share on its online sales continues, because you registered the business. An approved revenue share is a separate agreement and does not end with the access: the owner can ask to end it, and it runs until you agree or Vivid Connect decides. You can end your own share at any time.
When and how do I get paid?
At the moment of each sale. We split every online sale as the customer pays, and your share is sent straight to your own Mobile Money or bank account. There is no platform wallet and nothing to withdraw.
Do I earn from my client's first sale?
Yes. Businesses you register open on Pay As You Earn from day one, so your 1% referral share starts with their very first online sale and keeps accruing on every one after it. An approved revenue share is paid on top, out of the owner's side.
Can I charge my own price for the installation?
Yes. What you charge a client for site survey, cabling, mounting or configuration is between you and them, off the platform. Vivid Connect's fees do not change.
Which routers work with Vivid Connect?
Any MikroTik running RouterOS 7.1 or newer. Older units still on RouterOS 6 are updated automatically during onboarding. Consumer routers from other brands do not work as the hotspot router, though they can serve as plain access points behind the MikroTik. See the router buyer's guide for models by situation.
Your next install could be the last one you do for free.
The application is free and takes two minutes: your name, your WhatsApp number, the code we send. A human reviews it, usually within a day. Once approved, sign in, register your first client and onboard their router from your phone.
